Job summary

Kyabram District Health Service is seeking an After Hours Primary Care Services Coordinator to lead the ongoing operational delivery of the after-hours service. You will manage workforce rostering, service planning, governance support and performance monitoring to strengthen access for Campaspe residents outside standard hours.

Reporting to the Director of Primary Health & Community Services, this role involves liaising with GPs, nursing staff and external providers to optimise patient flow,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing, Allied Health or Health Administration qualification with relevant clinical experience.
• Proven clinic coordination or healthcare administration experience.
• Familiarity with GP clinic operations, patient flow and appointment systems, Medicare billing and health fund processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with GPs and primary health care staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate after-hours primary care services and rostering to ensure timely access.
• Oversee day-to-day service operations, planning and governance support.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare stakeholder communications and reports.
• Engage with medical, nursing, admin staff and external providers to improve services.
