Sharp and Carter is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a part-time role in Melbourne's inner northern suburbs. The position offers 3 days per week with hybrid flexibility and will start as a temporary assignment with strong potential to become permanent.

You will manage end-to-end accounts payable in a project-based environment, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments. Muli Management Software experience is essential and Excel proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in accounts payable.
• Must have experience using Muli Management Software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• High-volume invoice processing and data entry
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Preparing and processing payment runs
• Managing supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
• Matching purchase orders, invoices and receipts
• Maintaining supplier master data and records
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to obtain invoice approvals
• General finance and administration support as required

Overview of the role
Part-time opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a growing organisation located in Melbourne's inner northern suburbs.
Working 3 days per week and offering flexibility to work-from-home, the role will initially commence as a temporary assignment, with a strong potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.
This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable function within a project-based environment Due to the nature of the position, previous experience using Muli Management Software is essential

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing
