Job summary

Sharp & Carter Sydney North Shore Accounting Clerical is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer open to Juniors for a newly created role in North Sydney. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end AP processes, with some responsibility for leading the AP team in time.

1–2 years experience in a similar role is ideal; MYOB experience is advantageous. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential; the role offers 1–2 days work from home and proximity to public transport.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable
• Matching, batching and coding invoices
• Reconciliation of supplier payments and inter-company accounts
• Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
• Reconciliation of bank and supplier reconciliations
• Contribute accounts payable information to other departments upon request
• Opportunity to direct and lead the Accounts Payable team
