Job summary

THE resources HUB and Resourceful Women are seeking a highly organized finance and operations professional to join their Perth team. You will manage payroll, accounts payable/receivable, onboarding, and finance administration across two growing businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

This role blends finance with systems and office administration, offering variety, ownership, and the chance to develop skills across BAS, reporting, and cloud platforms like Xero.

Qualifications

  • Three or more years' experience in payroll, bookkeeping, finance support or office administration.
  • Experience processing payroll for casual labour hire and/or internal employees.
  • Working knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation and Fair Work requirements.
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero and Google Suite, and recruitment systems (desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence communicating with clients, candidates, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience within recruitment, labour hire or the mining and resources industry will be highly regarded.
  • A Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or equivalent experience) is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations across both businesses.
  • Onboard new employees and process weekly payroll and super for casual labour hire employees and internal staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate timesheets, payroll approvals and mobilisation documentation.
  • Complete daily bank, credit card and account reconciliations while maintaining accurate Xero records.
  • Coordinate payment runs, purchase orders, supplier accounts and finance administration.
  • Onboard new clients and ensure compliance checks.
  • Support month-end processes, BAS preparation and reporting.
  • Maintain cloud-based systems, user access and business data.
  • Assist with recruitment administration, compliance, onboarding and general office operations, as well as client and internal reporting.
  • Help improve systems, workflows and business processes across both businesses.
  • Be the go-to person for finance, administration and operational support across the team.

What you'll get stuck into:
