Job summary

Parks Victoria is seeking a Customer Service Officer in Morwell to deliver front-line visitor support, accurate information and high-quality service. You’ll assist with bookings, accommodation and camping facilities, welcome visitors and help maintain safe, enjoyable park experiences.

Work with a collaborative team to provide information across visitor services and commercial operations, resolve issues and support local planning.

Qualifications

Relevant knowledge and practical skills in customer service, visitor information, community engagement, environmental education or basic land management and maintenance.
Experience delivering customer service and operational activities under general supervision and as part of a team.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative within established guidelines.

Responsibilities

Provide front-line visitor support with accurate information, assistance and high-quality service.
Support commercial operations, bookings, accommodation and camping services and retail sales.
Welcome and orientate customers and resolve issues to maintain high-quality visitor experiences.
Work with colleagues and contractors to maintain consistent service quality and contribute to local planning.
