MJ Hambier Painting Contractors is seeking a keen and reliable person to join the team as a long-term apprentice, with a pathway to full qualification in painting and decorating. You will learn under experienced painters and complete a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.

The role covers domestic new work painting, including brush, roller, spray applications and decorative finishes, with a focus on attention to detail and reliability.

We are a well established Painting and Decorating business and we arelooking for ahonest, reliable, hard-working, and punctual member to join our growing team long-term for ongoing work.

Great opportunity for a keen and reliable person looking for a career pathway as a fully qualified Painter. You will undertake a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating with qualified painters to show you the trade and mentor you through your apprenticeship.

We specialise in all aspects of domestic new work painting.

Duties will involve:

• Apply paint by brush and roller
• Apply paint by spray
• Apply decorative paint finishes

To be successful you will need to have the following:

• High level of attention to detail
• Motivated with a genuine interest in the painting industry
• Be trustworthy and reliable

Drivers licence preferred but not essential

Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply

To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
