Job summary

Unknown Company is seeking Packers/Assemblers in Australia to join a team performing heavy lifting and multi-disciplinary packing and assembly tasks. The role includes packing large panels and smaller parts, light mechanical assembly, and loading/unloading goods.

The position is a full-time casual role offering 38 hours per week, with hourly pay between A$31 and A$32.50. Applicants should be reliable, physically fit and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit with lifting up to 20 kg.
• Experience in heavy packing/assembly in metal production.

Responsibilities

• Pack large items (panels, doors, windows, beams) and smaller items (screws, bolts, components).
• Light assembly work and mechanical assembly of screws/bolts.
• Load/unload trucks and containers; labouring tasks as required.

Packers/Assemblers (Heavy lifting required)

Our client is a market leader in the Industrial trade sector. They are specialists in producing quality spray booths for businesses throughout Australia. They currently have an opportunity for 4 Packers with assembly experience to join their team area to start ASAP.

This role will require:

Picker/packing (HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED)

Labouring - loading/unloading trucks and containers

The role would suit someone who has worked in a similar metal production styled environment. You will be expected to pack large items such as panels, doors, windows, metal beams etc…so some heavy lifting is required. Along with packing smaller items such as screws, bolts, electrical components. This role will also include light assembly work, assembling panels, mechanical assembly of screws and bolts. This is a multi-disciplinary role where you will need:

To be physically fit for this role (Lifting of up to 20Kgs expected)

Have good power tools skills and basic hand tool experience

Work well in a team environment

Be flexible and approachable

MUST BE RELIABLE

This role will start as a Full time Casual position offering 38 hours of work per week.

Salary: $31-$32.50 per hour
