Job summary

people2people are seeking an Assembly Operator to join a well-established global organisation specialising in electrical and power management solutions. Immediate start available, casual assignment until 18 December 2026 with potential extension.

You will assemble small mechanical components and electrical panel parts, follow SOPs, inspect quality, and support production and warehouse tasks. Overtime may be available, and the role offers weekday daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production environments.
• Available for an immediate start and casual assignment.
• Good attention to detail when handling small components.
• Able to follow instructions and perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Reliable, hardworking with good communication and teamwork.

people2people are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operator to join a well-established global organisation specialising in electrical and power management solutions for an IMMEDIATE START.

Key responsibilities

• Assembling small mechanical components and electrical panel parts
• Following assembly instructions and standard operating procedures
• Using basic hand tools and equipment where required
• Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
• Packing and preparing assembled components
• Assisting with general production and warehouse duties as required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

About you

• MUST HAVE previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or production environments
• MUST BE immediately available - ASAP Start
• Good attention to detail, particularly when handling small components
• The ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately
• A reliable, hardworking attitude and a strong work ethic
• Good communication skills and the ability to work within a team
• A forklift licence would be highly regarded but is not essential

$37 per hour + super

Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime

Optional Saturday overtime, approximately twice per month

Casual assignment until 18 December 2026, with potential extension
