Job summary

MployHR is seeking a reliable Packer for a morning shift at a pharmacy-grade manufacturing site in Melbourne. The role involves operating packing equipment, labeling products, and ensuring quality control in a GMP environment.

You will document production activities and maintain high standards of hygiene. The position runs Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM, with an ongoing view to permanency and competitive hourly pay plus super.

Our Client

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting production processes, operating equipment, and ensuring products are prepared, packed, and handled in line with strict quality and safety standards.

About the Role

• Packer – Morning Shift (6 AM to 2 PM | $34.65/hr + Super

• Long-term ongoing role with a view to permanency

• Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

• Support manufacturing processes while maintaining accuracy and quality standards

• Perform packing, labelling, and product checks

• Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and workplace safety requirements

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the production environment

• Identify and report any production issues or equipment faults

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets

About You

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, production, or packing environments is preferred

• Ability to operate machinery and follow SOPs

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

• Good computer skills and ability to read, write, and communicate proficiently in English

• Able to pass a medical examination

• Able to submit and pass a police check

• Full working rights and availability to work Monday to Friday
