Job summary

Good People HR Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced Machine Setter / Line Setter to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing business in Melbourne.

The role involves setting up, changing over, troubleshooting, and operating packaging equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production. Candidates with hands-on experience in setting up pouch, bottle, sachet, jar, or tube packaging lines within the food or pharmaceutical industry will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

Proven experience setting up packaging lines within the food or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
Experience with bottle, pouch, sachet, jar, or tube packaging lines.
Food or pharmaceutical packaging line setup experience is essential.

Responsibilities

Set up packaging and production lines to ensure efficient operation.
Complete changeovers of filling, capping, and labelling equipment on time.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and optimise output while minimising downtime and waste.
Set up, dismantle, clean, wash, and reassemble filling and packaging equipment.
Monitor product quality and adjust processes to maintain GMP standards.
Operate and maintain machines safely and keep area clean and organised.
Complete ERP transactions and production documentation accurately.
