Job summary

Probiotec, based at the Kemps Creek facility, is seeking a Day shift production operator to set up production lines, manage changeovers and keep runs on GMP and quality standards. You will fault-find and repair packing and processing equipment, strip and reconfigure machinery for different product runs, and oversee workflow across the shift.

Applicants should have a Mechanical Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Engineering (or equivalent), at least 2 years on a packing floor in FMCG/pharma,

Qualifications

• Mechanical Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years on a packing floor with conveyors, cartoning or shrink wrap equipment.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.
• Working knowledge of GMP requirements.
• Able to pass pre-employment medical and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Set up production lines and manage changeovers to meet production schedules.
• Fault find, repair and troubleshoot packing and processing equipment.
• Set and strip production machinery for different product runs.
• Oversee production and packing workflow across the shift.
• Maintain plant and equipment for reliable running.
• Work within GMP and WHS requirements across all tasks.
