Job summary

San Miguel Yamamura Australasia (SMYA) is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth in retail packaging. You will own end-to-end sales from supplier to delivery and nurture key client relationships to hit revenue targets.

You will pursue new business, grow existing accounts, respond to tenders, manage budgets and forecasts, and coordinate industry events as required. Strong communication, strategic thinking, and packaging experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Seasoned sales professional with experience in packaging and retail accounts.
• Proven ability to develop proposals and win business.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Sales from supplier to delivery and ongoing account management.
• Convert new business opportunities in the retail packaging space into sales.
• Grow and maintain accounts and manage sales budgets and forecasts.
• Respond to tenders and develop proposals aligned with customer needs.
• Organise industry events, client entertainment, and promotional activities as required.
• Monitor pricing and competitive activity across Australasia.
