Challenger Services Group is seeking reliable Overnight Kitchen Cleaners to join our hospitality team at a luxury hotel in Sydney CBD. Working overnight 12:00am – 4:00am, you’ll play a key role in keeping kitchens clean and sanitised for daily operations.

You’ll follow detailed cleaning schedules, handle chemicals safely, and contribute to high food-safety standards in a premium hotel setting. Shift flexibility and opportunities within a renowned hospitality environment await.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial cleaning, hospitality cleaning, or kitchen cleaning is required.
• Ability to follow detailed cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning and sanitisation of commercial kitchen areas.
• Follow Scope of Works for daily and periodic tasks.
• Clean floors, walls, benches, prep areas, equipment exteriors, storage spaces.
• Ensure kitchen areas meet food safety and hygiene standards.
• Safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work with team to complete cleaning schedules efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns.

Challenger Services Group is seeking reliable and motivated Overnight Kitchen Cleaners to join our hospitality team at a luxury hotel in Sydney CBD.

Working behind the scenes, you'll play a critical role in ensuring commercial kitchens remain clean, sanitised, and ready for daily food preparation and service operations. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with commercial cleaning or hospitality cleaning experience who enjoy working independently and as part of a team.

Available Shifts: Flexible Monday to Sunday shifts (12:00am - 4:00am)

Location: Sydney CBD

What You'll Be Doing:

As an Overnight Kitchen Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Completing detailed cleaning and sanitisation of commercial kitchen areas.
• Following a Scope of Works to complete daily and periodic cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning floors, walls, benches, food preparation areas, equipment exteriors, and storage spaces.
• Ensuring kitchen areas meet food safety and hygiene standards.
• Safely handling and using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Working collaboratively with team members to complete cleaning schedules efficiently.
• Reporting any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns.

About you:

You'll be someone who:

• Has previous commercial cleaning, hospitality cleaning, or kitchen cleaning experience.
• Understands food safety and hygiene standards.
• Has experience using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Can follow detailed work instructions and cleaning schedules.
• Takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning results.
• Works effectively both independently and within a team.
• Is reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
