Challenger Services Group is seeking a Part-Time Facility Cleaner for a premium aged care community in Rushcutters Bay, NSW. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, with a Monday to Friday 6:00pm–10:00pm shift.

The role emphasizes high standards of cleanliness, infection control, and reliable, organised work habits to support resident wellbeing and quality of life.

Challenger Services Group is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Facility Cleaner to join our team in Rushcutters Bay, NSW. Working within a premium aged care community, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where residents can feel comfortable and supported.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00pm - 10:00pm

Location: Rushcutters Bay, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Facility Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across resident rooms, bathrooms, communal spaces, dining areas, and staff facilities.
• Completing daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising, and waste management.
• Supporting infection prevention through the regular cleaning and disinfecting of high-contact surfaces.
• Ensuring consumables such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper are replenished as required.
• Following cleaning schedules, site procedures, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment faults to supervisors.
• Working independently and collaboratively to ensure a consistently high standard of presentation throughout the facility.

About You

You'll be someone who:

• Takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, or facility services experience (preferred but not essential).
• Understands safe cleaning practices, chemical handling, and infection control procedures.
• Has a genuine desire to contribute to a caring environment for elderly residents.
• Is reliable, organised, and able to manage their time effectively.
• Has strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Holds a valid Police Check or is willing to obtain one.
• Holds an NDIS Worker Check or is willing to obtain one (Mandatory).
• Has received at least two COVID-19 vaccinations and a current Influenza vaccination (Mandatory).
