Minor Hotels’ Oaks Gold Coast Calypso Plaza Suites is seeking a part-time Night Caretaker to deliver exceptional guest service and maintain a safe, welcoming environment overnight. You will handle late arrivals, check-ins, and guest inquiries, while supporting front office tasks and property monitoring.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel operations or guest-facing roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using reservation and property management software.
• Proactive, service-focused with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work overnights, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to guests during overnight hours.
• Communicate clearly with guests, colleagues and stakeholders and resolve issues promptly.
• Process reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and guest account transactions securely.
• Monitor the property at night ensuring security, cleanliness and presentation.
• Carry out housekeeping tasks in common areas as needed.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and emergencies to maintain a positive experience.
• Complete nightly tasks and reporting within required timeframes.
• Report maintenance, safety or operational issues observed during the shift.
