Job summary

TeamKids in Lilyfield is seeking a Casual Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our OSHC team. You’ll support children before and after school, participate in excursions and themed activities, and help create a safe, engaging environment across shift patterns.

We offer flexible shifts, extra pay for peak times, and opportunities for development through our National Child Safety training and Director Of Service Job Ready program.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Working with Children Check or state-specific equivalent required.
• Ability to engage children in before/after school activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with before and after school care activities.
• Support safety and wellbeing of children in OSHC.
• Engage children in play-based learning and structured activities.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Lilyfield

Shifts Available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll Need (or Be Willing To Get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
