Job summary

TeamKids is recruiting an energetic Casual Educator for its OSHC service in Lilyfield, Inner West, Sydney. You’ll support before- and after-school care and holiday programs, delivering engaging activities for children aged 5–12 while working with a friendly team.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, a valid WWCC, and a commitment to child safety training. Flexible shifts and staff development opportunities are provided by TeamKids.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• WWCC/WWVP/Blue card/VIT as relevant to your state is needed.
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko before starting.

Responsibilities

• Casual Educator role with TeamKids’ OSHC service in Lilyfield.
• Work closely with a supportive team to provide care and activities for children.
• Help deliver engaging, safe and age-appropriate activities before/after school and during holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Lilyfield

Shifts available:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
