Job summary

TeamKids, a leading OSHC provider in Australia, is seeking Casual Educators for the South NSW team around Miranda and surrounding suburbs. You will work across before/after school shifts and holiday blocks, helping create a safe, engaging learning environment for children aged 5–12.

No two days are the same; you’ll join a supportive team, lead hands-on activities, and support children’s development while communicating with parents. WWCC is preferred, ACECQA qualifications pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before/After School Care is preferred but not essential.
• Working with Children Check relevant to your state is required or obtainable.
• Willingness to pursue ACECQA approved qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in Before and After School Care and holiday programs.
• Engage children aged 5–12 with hands-on learning and activities.
• Ensure safety, well-being, and clear communication with parents and colleagues.

Who is TeamKids?

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Miranda & Surrounding suburbs

Shifts available:

• 7:00am-9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm-6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6-8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You'll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC, WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
