Job summary

TeamKids is hiring a Casual Educator in Warragamba to support before and after school programs. You will help deliver engaging activities, supervise children aged 5–12, and work closely with a supportive team.

Flexibility for school terms and holidays is offered, with options for morning, afternoon, and holiday shifts. Training and career development are provided to help you grow in the OSHC space.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before/After School Care is beneficial.
• WWCC/Blue Card/working with children check as required by state.
• Cert III or Diploma in ACECQA approved course preferred (or working towards it).

Responsibilities

• Support daily activities and excursions with children.
• Supervise groups to ensure safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to create engaging experiences.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children’s lives.

Location: Warragamba

Shifts available:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
