Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Casual Educator for Outside School Hours Care in Maroubra, Sydney. You’ll work with children aged 5–12, supporting pre- and post-school programs and holiday activities.

You’ll collaborate with a friendly team, have flexible shifts, and enjoy opportunities for professional development and discounted care for your own children.

We prioritise child safety with thorough checks and ongoing training while providing a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required or willingness to obtain.
• Prior OSHC or education experience is welcome but not essential.
• WWCC/Blue Card or state equivalent required prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Support children in before- and after-school activities.

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Maroubra

Shifts available

• 7:00am-9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm-6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6-8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
