Job summary

TeamKids is seeking Casual Educators to join our West NSW OSHC team. Work with dedicated staff to support children before and after school, with holiday shifts available. Prior experience is helpful but not required—we provide training and a friendly learning environment.

You'll help deliver engaging activities, ensure safety, and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture that values every child’s growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in Before/After School Care is helpful but not essential.
• Passionate about helping children thrive and be engaged.
• Willing to obtain required clearances and training.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Gledswood, Gregory Hills, Ambarvale & surrounding suburbs

Shifts available:

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get)

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Preferably has a Cert III or Diploma in an ACECQA approved course (or be working towards it) - Visit acecqa.gov.au to learn more about approved qualifications
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
