Cobbold Gorge Tours is looking for an experienced cook to join our team to assist with providing the true "Outback Experience" for our guests. You will assist our chef with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals

Prepare modern Australian cuisine and monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation, while delegating tasks to kitchen staff and training under a chef in a remote North Queensland setting.

Formación

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• High standard of hygiene and cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
• RSA certificate and Food Handlers certification.
• Previous experience in remote/regional locations desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
• Prepare and cook modern Australian cuisine.
• Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
• Delegate tasks to kitchen staff.
• Train under a chef and learn to prepare meals with minimal supervision.
