Job summary

OTR Kelmscott is opening a new site in Kelmscott, WA and is seeking a Console Operator to join the founding crew. You will focus on delivering great customer experiences, keeping the store clean, stocked and welcoming for our guests in a fast-paced environment.

You should enjoy multi-tasking, be comfortable working alone or with a team, and be willing to work flexible hours including late nights and weekends. Training is scheduled ahead of the opening date.

• Deliver outstanding customer service in a retail environment.

• Stand for long periods and perform light to moderate lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly service to guests at the store entrance and checkout.
• Keep the store clean, organized and welcoming for guests.
• Assist with stock replenishment and product displays.
• Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.

About the Role

As a Console Operator, you will be focused on providing great customer experiences and will ensure the store is always clean, stocked and welcoming for our Guests. This is a fast-paced job where being able to multi-task and manage your time is essential. At OTR, we pride ourselves on our multiple food offerings and the best barista coffee you’ll ever taste.

About You & Your Skills

• You are focused on providing outstanding customer service
• You are comfortable working alone as well as within a team
• You’ll be on your feet for long periods of time and may require moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
• You have the availability to work flexible hours (including late nights, early mornings and weekends)
• Be willing to learn and promote our wide range of products and specials

The successful candidate will be required to confirm their Australian working rights, as well as provide a current police clearance certificate.

OTR Kelmscott is expected to open min-January. Applicants will be contacted for interviews. Please note that training for new team members is scheduled 1-3 weeks prior to opening date.
