Job summary

Iberdrola Australia is seeking an experienced OT Engineer to provide technical leadership and coordination of SCADA, control systems and OT project scopes, predominantly for new assets in Australia.

Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you will ensure OT/SCADA solutions meet design, commissioning, and compliance requirements, while coordinating interfaces and managing risks with contractors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in control, SCADA and OT systems in renewable energy or comparable industrial environment.
• Ability to balance technical detail with project delivery objectives.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OT and SCADA solutions meet project, operational and compliance requirements from design through commissioning.
• Coordinate interfaces between work packages and manage technical risks.
• Support successful project delivery and lifecycle activities for OT/SCADA.
• Act as the primary technical contact for OT project activities; review designs and documentation; coordinate testing and acceptance activities.
