Job summary

XPT Software Australia PTY Ltd is seeking an OT Engineer to design, implement, and support OT systems that enable secure and reliable electricity transmission and distribution networks. The role focuses on SCADA, EMS/DMS, substation automation, and integration between OT and IT environments to ensure grid reliability and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in Utilities/Energy/Transmission/Distribution sectors.
• Experience with OT cybersecurity considerations and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, support, and optimize OT systems for secure grid operations.
• Configure and troubleshoot RTUs, PLCs, IEDs, HMI, and substation automation equipment.
• Support real-time monitoring and control of transmission and distribution networks.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, testing, and deployments.
