Job summary

Gransolar Group is seeking an OT Network & I&C Specialist to maintain reliable plant OT networks and SCADA for our utility-scale solar assets in Australia. You will work with site teams, OEMs, and IT to ensure secure, resilient communication between field devices and central systems.

The role requires 5+ years of PV experience, strong networking, and familiarity with Modbus TCP and DNP3. Travel 25–30% and collaboration across engineering and operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering, networking, automation or similar degree.
• Five years of experience in photovoltaic plant construction with OT networking duties.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting network infrastructure (switching, routing).
• Familiarity with Modbus TCP, DNP3 or equivalent protocols.
• Willingness to travel 25–30%.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot plant-level OT networks and SCADA interfaces.
• Support standardised network design and configuration across the portfolio.
• Diagnose and resolve OT network faults between field devices and SCADA.
• Assist commissioning, plant expansions, or retrofits.
• Review as-built network docs for compliance and liaison with OEMs/vendors.
• Implement OT cybersecurity controls and coordinate with IT on responsibilities.
