Job summary

Optus is seeking a Platform Lead within OSS Delivery to own the evolution of critical operational platforms underpinning service activation, fulfilment, and number management. You will translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring stability, security, and alignment with long-term strategy.

You will partner with architects, engineers and senior leaders, owning the platform roadmap, managing dependencies, and driving projects to successful production outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience in platform ownership, solution design, and OSS delivery within a large telecoms environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSS fulfilment platforms, system integration, and end-to-end technology delivery.
• Proven stakeholder management across architecture, operations, and senior leaders.
• Degree in IT/CS/Engineering; cloud certifications are valued.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and performance of key OSS platforms.
• Lead design and delivery of complex technology solutions from requirements to production support.
• Partner with architects, engineers, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to define platform direction.
• Act as SME for platforms, manage risks and pursue continuous improvement and innovation.
