Job summary

Optus is seeking a Platform Lead in OSS Delivery to own and evolve critical operational platforms that support service activation, fulfilment, number management, and core telecommunications capabilities.

You will bridge architecture, delivery, and operations, translating requirements into scalable solutions while ensuring security, reliability, and long-term strategy in a complex enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform ownership and end-to-end delivery within large technology environments.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable platform designs.
• Proven stakeholder management and collaboration across architects, engineers, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own strategy, roadmap, lifecycle, and operational performance of OSS platforms.
• Lead design and delivery of complex technology solutions from requirements to production support.
• Partner with architects, engineers, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery teams to define platform direction and manage dependencies.
• Act as SME for assigned platforms, manage risks and vulnerabilities, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive continuous innovation and alignment with business objectives.
