Job summary

EML Group in Newcastle/Sydney/Parramatta is seeking an experienced OSINT analyst to screen and analyse public data, generate detailed reports and support claim certifications. The role is based in NSW with hybrid work options after training and a max-term contract to 31 December 2027.

You will work across internal teams, ensure accuracy, and maintain confidentiality while delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Class 2E (Private Investigator) licence.
• Understand and comply with SIRA Standards of Practice.
• Proficient in using OSINT software and data analysis.
• Familiar with Maltego and Caspar is advantageous.
• Strong ability to analyse complex data with critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, detailed reports summarising findings, conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Use OSINT software to screen and assess claims by gathering and analysing public data.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, providing updates and insights.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with claim certifications while protecting privacy.
• Handle administrative tasks related to reviews, including reports and record actions.
