Job summary

Junior Adventures Group is seeking a Service Manager for Googong OSHClub to lead a large, established outside school hours care service. You will drive service quality, develop people and create engaging programs for children.

This role uniquely offers 32.5 hours per week of dedicated out-of-ratio admin time, plus about 5.5 hours in-ratio time to stay connected with your team and children.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large OSHC or Early Childhood service.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Assessment & Rating.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Current Working with Children Check/Blue Card.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain).
• National Police Check.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a large team of Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators and Educators.
• Drive exceptional educational programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor while ensuring compliance with the NQF.
• Build strong partnerships with children, families, schools and the wider community.
• Manage service operations including budgets, rosters, enrolments, compliance and workforce planning.
• Prepare the service for Assessment & Rating and maintain high-quality standards.
• Create a positive team culture where people feel valued and inspired to grow.
