Job summary

TheTheirCare is seeking an experienced Program Manager at Nelson Park to lead the OSHC program in a specialist school setting, delivering high-quality care for children with complex needs.

You will plan and implement before and after school programs, manage staffing ratios, coach and support the team, and liaise with families, school teams and stakeholders to ensure individualized care and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised qualification required or in progress.
• Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services.
• Ability to manage high-support needs and complex behaviours.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead OSHC service and support families with before/after school and holiday programs.
• Plan and prepare child-focused programs for school-aged children.
• Maintain high staff-to-child ratios (1:2, 1:1, 2:1).
• Coach, train and provide reflective practice for the team.
• Roster the service with support from Area Manager.
• Manage compliance documents and administrative tasks.
• Liaise with families, school teams and internal stakeholders for individualized care.
• Support career development and progression pathways.
• Manage generous resource budgets.
• Be the face of TheirCare in the school community, building lasting relationships.
