Job summary

The TheirCare OSHC program is seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead services in a specialist school setting in Victoria. You will oversee before- and after-school care and holiday programs, ensuring high-quality outcomes for children with complex needs.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in disability or education sectors, strong communication and team leadership, and a commitment to inclusive, safe environments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in disability, education, or community services.
• Confidence in behavioural management for children with high and complex needs.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Engaging individual committed to children's lives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the OSHC service and support local families by providing quality before and after school care and holiday programs for their child in a specialist school setting.
• Plan and prepare child-focused programs for school-aged children in a specialist school setting.
• Maintain high staff to student ratios (1:2, 1:1, 2:1) to meet individual needs.
• Coach, train and support staff to foster a positive team culture.
• Roster the service with support from the Area Manager.
• Manage compliance documents and other administrative tasks.
• Liaise with families, school teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure individualised care.
• Support career development and progression pathways.
