Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Program Manager to lead a large OSHC service at two sites in Gledswood Hills, NSW. This is a hands-on leadership role, where you will be visible on the floor, coaching and supporting staff to deliver high-quality before/after/holiday care.

You will oversee two environments (Juniors and Seniors) and work closely with the Directors of Service and 2ICs to ensure safety, compliance and ongoing service growth, while building strong routines and systems.

Qualifications

• Strong OSHC leadership experience, highly desirable.
• Experience managing a split-site service or multiple operating environments, essential.
• Experience leading permanent and casual teams.
• Strong operational and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and changing needs.
• Confidence leading, directing, coaching and holding a team accountable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent administration and attention to detail.
• Strong follow-through and the ability to close the loop.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of a large, high-volume OSHC service.
• Oversee operations across both the Juniors and Seniors sites.
• Work closely with the Directors of Service and 2ICs to provide strong and consistent leadership.
• Lead, coach, mentor and develop permanent and casual educators.
• Support your team during contact hours and lead by example.
• Manage staffing, ratios, compliance, programming and operational requirements.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, school leaders and the wider school community.
• Oversee communication with families and the school.
• Establish strong routines, systems and processes across the service.
• Drive high-quality, engaging and inclusive programming.
• Identify issues early and take ownership of finding solutions.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and quality.
• Ensure administration is completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Build a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
• Support the continued growth and development of the service.
