Job summary

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland (MMCNQ) is seeking passionate OSHC Educators to join our welcoming Outside School Hours Care teams in Burdell, Currajong and Shaw. The roles offer up to 30 hours per week and may include split shifts with an allowance.

• Minimum Cert III ACECQA qualification or Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or working towards.

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland provides high-quality provision of care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, which stretches from Ingham in the North, to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West and Palm Island to the East.

Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is seeking passionate OSHC Educators to join our welcoming Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) teams at Burdell, Currajong, and Shaw. These positions can offer up to 30 hours per week and may include split shifts (with an allowance).

You will be a valued Educator who delivers high-quality practices to ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children. Each day, our team creates fun, playful, and interactive experiences tailored to the needs and interests of every child. You will play an important role in building strong, lasting relationships with children and their families in Townsville.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum Cert III approved ACECQA qualification or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or working towards.
• Keen interest in working within the childcare/education sector
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
• Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
• The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
