Job summary

PCYC Cannonvale Fun Squad in Queensland is seeking an Educator to provide safe, inclusive and engaging activities for children. You will work with a team to supervise and run high-quality, fun programs that celebrate each child’s strengths and interests.

Experience in Fun Squad or long day care is desirable. No formal qualifications are required, though a Certificate III in a relevant area is preferred. First Aid/CPR is desirable and essential safety practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are prerequisite for this position.
• Qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.
• Experience working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector (desirable).
• Ability to respond to the needs of children to ensure high quality fun meets agreed standards.
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) (desirable).

$37.55 - $45.56 per hour (depends on qualifications and experience, please note that junior rates may apply)

About You

• No formal Qualifications are prerequisite for this position
• Qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.A range of study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation and human welfare studies.
