Job summary

PCYC Queensland in Cannonvale is seeking a passionate Outside School Hours Care Educator for the Fun Squad. You will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive and engaging environment, supervising children and delivering high-quality, fun programs as part of a supportive team.

The role focuses on acknowledging each child’s strengths and needs while upholding safeguarding and PCYC Queensland values. Join our not-for-profit organisation and contribute to community development.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications are prerequisite for this position.
• Qualified Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an area relevant to working with children.
• Experience working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector (desirable).
• Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality practices to ensure a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for children.
• Interact with and supervise children while delivering high-quality, seriously fun programs with children.
• Work as a team to deliver programs with children and ensure safety and safeguarding in line with PCYC Queensland values.
• Acknowledge and support the unique strengths, needs and interests of each child.
