Job summary

St Mary’s College is seeking an experienced, passionate Director to oversee our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) service, including Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, on a permanent part-time basis (0.64 FTE) with daily planning time.

You will provide strategic, operational and educational leadership to ensure a child-safe, inclusive environment for children and families, guiding educators and rostering to meet regulatory requirements and high-quality practice.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma or Diploma in OSHC or Children’s Services or relevant Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent
• Proven experience as Centre Director or senior leadership
• Knowledge of ACECQ A guidelines
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time, Our Place
• Knowledge and experience in age-appropriate curriculum aligned learning
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR certificates

Responsibilities

• Lead the OSHC program design, implementation, documentation and evaluation
• Ensure safe, inclusive environments and strong partnerships with families
• Oversee staff rostering, supervision, and professional learning
• Develop risk minimisation and safety systems for operations
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting
• Lead daily workforce planning and deployment
• Drive high-quality educational practice and child-centred activities
• Collaborate with College leadership on strategic directions
