Our P&C needs someone who combines confident, capable leadership with a genuine ability to connect with children, families, educators and the wider school community. Someone who inspires their team, fosters a positive and collaborative culture, and brings the knowledge, sound judgement and operational skills needed to lead a compliant and thriving OSHC service.

What makes this role different?
  • Community Connection - Be part of a thriving, community-run OSHC service.
  • Inspire and Lead - Support and build on the strengths of our dedicated team.
  • Autonomy and Influence - Help shape the future of the service.
  • Flexible Working Arrangements - Inclusive of non-contact time.
  • Investing in You – Remuneration genuinely recognising experience, skills and contribution.
About the Role

Reporting to the P&C Association as Approved Provider, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of our OSHC service, balancing strong operational management with a genuine commitment to people, relationships and community.

We're looking for a visible, approachable and proactive leader who leads by example, supports and empowers their team, and works collaboratively with others. You'll have the autonomy to make meaningful decisions, build on existing strengths and contribute to the ongoing development of the service, while confidently managing compliance, child safety and operational responsibilities.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Building strong relationships with children, families and the school community
  • People leadership, team development and workplace culture
  • Engaging, child-focused programs and experiences
  • Day-to-day service operations and management
  • Human resources, workforce planning and recruitment
  • Financial oversight and budget management
  • Compliance with the National Quality Framework and regulatory requirements
  • Risk management, child safety and governance
  • Quality improvement and service development
  • Collaboration with the P&C Executive, staff, community and key stakeholders
About You

You're a confident, approachable and people-focused leader who genuinely enjoys connecting with children, families and educators. You lead by example, inspire those around you and understand that strong relationships and a positive team culture are fundamental to a thriving OSHC service.

You’ll bring:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within OSHC or a related education and care setting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to build positive relationships
  • A collaborative, flexible and solutions-focused leadership approach
  • Experience leading, mentoring and developing teams
  • Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Law and Regulations
  • Experience in service operations, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Sound financial, administrative and business management skills
  • Confidence working with governance committees and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, sound judgement and practical problem-solving skills
  • Relevant qualifications and a current Blue Card (or eligibility to obtain)
Highly regarded:
  • Experience as a Nominated Supervisor or Responsible Person
  • Knowledge of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) requirements and service funding frameworks
  • Experience preparing for or participating in Assessment and Rating processes
  • Experience in a community-run, not-for-profit or P&C-operated service
Why Join Us?

Join a service where your leadership can make a genuine difference — to the team you support, the children in your care and the community you serve.

You’ll work alongside a dedicated team of educators and a supportive P&C Executive, building on the service's existing strengths and partnering with our community to shape its future, while continuing to provide exceptional care and enriching experiences for children and families.
