Description du poste

Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane – Woodridge QLD

Looking for your next leadership opportunity? Join our growing St Paul's OSHC service in Woodridge. This is your opportunity to lead a developing service, shape its culture from the ground up and make a genuine impact — with an experienced network of specialist teams behind you every step of the way

Licensed for up to 42 children, the service has already opened its doors and is building strong connections with children, families and the wider school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OSHC professional who wants more than simply managing the day-to-day — you will have the opportunity to influence the culture, strengthen relationships and create a service where children and educators genuinely thrive.

You will lead a small, dedicated team of educators and oversee our After School Care program, operating from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm, creating a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children have opportunities to connect, play, learn and be themselves.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity – 20-25 hours per week during school terms (plus an opportunity to pick extra shifts).

Leadership with support around you. At Catholic Early EdCare, our Service Leaders are never expected to do it alone.
You will be supported by a brilliant and dedicated network of specialist teams, including our Quality A&R Team, Inclusion Team, Employee Relations Team and Recruitment Team.
Whether you need guidance around quality and compliance, support to create inclusive environments, assistance with a people matter or help attracting great educators to your team, specialist support is within reach.
This network provides practical guidance, expertise and partnership so you can feel confident, supported and empowered as a leader — while keeping your focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for children, families and your team.

What you'll be doing
As the OSHC Coordinator, you will:
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the After School Care program.
  • Mentor, support and inspire your team of educators, creating a positive and collaborative workplace.
  • Plan and oversee engaging, child-centred experiences that support children's wellbeing, development and sense of belonging.
  • Build strong and genuine relationships with children, families, school staff and the parish community.
  • Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
  • Ensure the service operates in line with relevant legislation, policies, procedures and quality standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to strengthen the quality of the service.
  • Play an active role in shaping the culture, direction and ongoing success of this growing service.
What you'll bring:

We're looking for a leader who combines strong operational capability with a genuine passion for children, people and community.

You will have:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or an equivalent qualification in accordance with ACECQA guidelines.
  • A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
  • Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications.
  • The ability and willingness to provide consent to act as the Nominated Supervisor.
  • A strong understanding of childcare legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place.
  • Current completion, or willingness to complete prior to commencement, of mandatory National Child Training via Geckko.
  • Previous experience managing or leading a childcare or OSHC service.
  • Confidence using childcare management software, with Xplor experience highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and a genuine commitment to developing, supporting and bringing out the best in others.
Why join us?

Excellent hourly rate + generous allowances – Be rewarded for your experience and contribution with a highly competitive hourly rate, plus access to a range of additional allowances that recognise your skills, responsibilities and the value you bring to the service.
