Job summary

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a Coordinator for an Outside School Hours Care service within Immaculate Heart School. The service is licensed for up to 90 children across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, supported by a dedicated team and welcoming community.

You will lead, build relationships with families and colleagues, and help create engaging experiences that support children's growth and sense of belonging.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children's Services or ACECQA-equivalent qualification.
• Blue Card / Working with Children Check current.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications current.
• Experience leading or managing an OSHC/childcare service.
• Understanding of NQF, NQS and My Time, Our Place.
• Willingness to complete Geckko National Child Training.
• Ability to act as Nominated Supervisor.
• Proficiency with childcare management systems (Xplor preferred).

Immaculate Heart OSHC, Leichhardt, is seeking a Coordinator to lead a well-established Outside School Hours Care service. Licensed for up to 90 children across Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care, the service is supported by a dedicated team, strong school partnerships and a welcoming community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and delivery of Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care programs that reflect children's interests and needs.
• Champion a culture of belonging, collaboration and excellence across the service.

Job Requirements

• A Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent qualification in accordance with ACECQA requirements.
• A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications.
• The ability and willingness to provide consent to act as the Nominated Supervisor.
• Current completion, or willingness to complete prior to commencement, of mandatory National Child Training via Geckko.
• A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place.
• Previous experience leading or managing a childcare or OSHC service.
• Current child protection training, or the ability to meet this requirement prior to commencement.
• Confidence using childcare management systems, with Xplor experience highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, motivate and support a team.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
