Job summary

Sunshine Coast Grammar School OSHClub is seeking an inspired OSHC Coordinator to lead a before- and after-school program for children aged 5–12. You’ll manage a team of Educators, oversee rosters, and ensure high-quality, safe activities across split shifts.

The role is permanent and part-time (33 hours/week) with 4 hours of dedicated administrative time. Competitive pay up to $43/hour, with support from Regional Managers and growth opportunities within JAG.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare.
  • Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year Qualified Educator in QLD per ACECQA guidance.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Educators in an engaging before- and after-school program.
  • Design and deliver a vibrant, child-centered program with STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Oversee rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration with dedicated time.
  • Foster an inclusive team culture and support educators' growth.
  • Partner with families and school community to grow and sustain the service.

Sunshine Coast Grammar School OSHClub is seeking an inspiring and motivatedOSHC Coordinator to join our growing OSHClub service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is a permanent, part-time role (33 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including 4 hours of dedicated non‑contact administrative time to support your success.

Service hours include:
  • Rise Then Shine: 7:00am – 9:00am
  • Stay and Play: 2:15pm – 6:00pm
  • School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

Caring for around 40 children each day, this is a great opportunity for an experienced OSHC Coordinator to lead a close-knit team, build strong relationships with the school community and create a fun, engaging environment where children thrive.

About your new role

As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centered program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
  • Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.

Who are we looking for?

  • Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within OSHC or childcare industry
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be leading by example!
  • A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.
  • You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
