Job summary

Junior Adventures Group Kilcoy is seeking an OSHC Coordinator to lead an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12. This permanent, part-time role (32.5 hours per week) runs across split shifts, with five hours of dedicated non-contact administrative time to support your success.

As Coordinator, you’ll supervise Educators, manage rosters, compliance and administration, and partner with families and schools to ensure a high-quality service.

Qualifications

  • Working towards or completed ACECQA-compliant 2-year educator qualification in QLD.
  • Leadership experience with children.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain National Police Check and WWCC.
  • National Child Safety Training completed prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lead rosters, daily operations, compliance and administration.
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture for Educators.
  • Partner with families, schools and stakeholders to grow the service.

Helping Hands Kilcoy is seeking aninspiring and motivatedOSHC Coordinatorto join our growing Helping Hands service. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role where you’ll shape culture, drive quality, and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and your team.

This is apermanent, part-timerole (32.5 hours per week) working across split shifts, Monday to Friday, including5 hours of dedicated non‑contact administrative timeto support your success.

Service hours include:

  • Rise Then Shine: 6:30am – 9:00am
  • Stay and Play: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
  • School Holidays: Block shifts between 6:30am – 6:00pm

Helping Hands Kilcoy is a growing service that proudly supports families within the local rural community. As one of our newer services, it currently welcomes an average of 15 children each session, allowing educators to build strong relationships with children and families while providing personalised care and support.Featuring a large indoor environment, the service is able to set up and pack down each day, creating flexible and engaging play spaces that encourage open-ended play, creativity, and exploration.

About your new role

As a Coordinator, you’ll be leading a team of passionate Educators and overseeing an engaging before- and after-school program for children aged 5-12 years. This role is all about leadership:

  • Design and lead a vibrant, child‑centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
  • Take ownership of rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration, with time allocated to do this well.
  • Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
  • Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
  • Be supported by experienced Regional Managers and a dedicated Support Office so you’re never doing it alone.

  • Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year QualifiedEducatorin QLDin accordance with ACECQA
  • Leadership experience working with children
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
  • A natural leader who enjoys guiding a team and helping others grow.
  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be leading by example!
  • A team player who inspires others and encourages growth.
  • You have (or are willing to obtain) a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
