Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a permanent OSHC Coordinator for the Before and After School Care program at Truganina South Primary School. This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) with working hours 6:30am-9am and 2:30pm-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, plus daytime administration time.

The hourly rate is $40 with Diploma-level ACECQA qualification, and $46 per hour with a Degree or equivalent, plus an ACECQA retention payment and 12% super.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level ACECQA qualification minimum.
• ACECQA approved Degree or equivalent required.
• First Aid (HLTAID012) and CPR.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Working with Children Check (Victoria).
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate within first month of employment.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development of the OSHC program.
• Collaborate with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities.
• Build positive relationships with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners.
• Manage a team of educators supporting the operation of a high-quality OSHC program.
