YMCA Victoria is seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Truganina South Primary School. This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) with shifts 6:30am-9am and 2:30pm-6:30pm Monday to Friday, including admin time.

The hourly rate is $40 for Diploma/ACECQA, $46 for Degree/ACECQA approval plus 12% super and an retention payment. You will lead a team, work with the Regional OSHC Coordinator, build strong school and community relationships, and drive high

About the opportunity?

Y Victoria is currently seeking a permanent Coordinator for our Before and After School Care service at Truganina South Primary School. This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week) with working hours from 6:30am-9am & 2:30pm-6:30pm Monday to Friday, with ample administration time during the day.

The hourly rate for the position is $40 (ACECQA approved Diploma or equivalent) and $46 p/hour (ACECQA Approved Degree or equivalent) + ECEC retention payment + 12% super.

OSHC Coordinators are responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operations and strategic development and growth of the program;
• Working with the Regional OSHC Coordinator to identify and respond to service improvement opportunities;
• Creating a positive relationship with the school, families, local community groups and contract partners;
• Managing a team of educators who support you in operating a high quality and fun Outside of School Hours Care program

What do you need?

• You’ll need to have either completed or be working towards a Diploma or tertiary-level qualification as determined by ACECQA (see the link below)
• Have (or be willing to obtain) HLTAID012 First Aid Qualifications (including valid CPR)and Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
• Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting & Other Obligations Early Childhood
• National child safety training - Foundation training
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children’s Check – employee check
• You’ll need to have, or be willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor certificate within the first month of your employment
