Job summary

TeamKids Ripley is seeking a dedicated Second in Charge (2IC) to lead and enrich daily OSHC programs for primary-aged children. This permanent, part-time role offers hands-on leadership with a supportive Director of Service, and a clear path to growth within a values-driven OSHC environment.

You'll work 25 hours per week across split shifts (7:00-9:00am and 2:15-5:15pm), Monday to Friday, at our Ripley service. Prior experience helps, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in before/after school care or education is preferred but not required.
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• Strong team player with a can-do attitude.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and loves to have fun.
• Diploma qualification aligned with ACECQA standards.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Ripley

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

• Before School Care: 7:00 - 9:00am
• After School Care: 2:15 - 5:15pm
• Total Hours: 25

The Successful Candidate:

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!

• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
