TeamKids in Nerang is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) for a part-time OSHC role. You will be supported by a Director of Service to thrive in leadership and childcare responsibilities.

You’ll work across split shifts, deliver engaging activities, and build strong relationships with children, families and the school community while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Experience in Before/After School Care or education preferred but not essential (training available).
• Strong communication with children, parents, team members and school principals.
• Diploma qualification (ACE CQ A) or working towards it as per ACECQA standards.
• Mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to employment.

TeamKids is the premium provider of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) throughout Australia. We exist to excite, engage and entertain children before school, after school and throughout school holidays.

Job Description

This permanent, part - time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location: Nerang

Beautiful school with a well established OSHC, dedicated space with access to multiple outdoor areas, the relationship with the school is excellent and there are no inclusion needs. A lovely service for an experienced OSHC professional to enjoy developing alongside an established team of educators.

You’ll work across split shifts, Monday to Friday:

Before school care: 6:30 - 9:00am
After school care: 2:25 - 6:00pm
Total hours: 30.5

The Successful Candidate:

• Ideally you have previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can train you!
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and still a big kid at heart!
• Confident communicator with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
• You're a strong team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a can-do, positive attitude.
• Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary-aged children.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have FUN!

• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids
