Job summary

Junior Adventures Group (JAG) is seeking two OSHC Assistant Coordinators to lead before- and after-school programs at Chapel Hill and Brookfield. The roles are part-time (Chapel Hill 20 hours/week, Brookfield 25 hours/week) with split shifts across Monday to Friday, designed for students in education, psychology, social work or healthcare.

You’ll design engaging activities, assist with rosters and operations, and collaborate with families and schools.

Qualifications

• Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a 2Year Qualified Educator in QLD in accordance with ACECQA.
• National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko).
• Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact.
• Communicates clearly and confidently.
• Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.

Responsibilities

• Design and help lead a vibrant, child-centred program, filled with engaging experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, arts and crafts.
• Assist with rosters, daily operations, compliance, and administration.
• Build a positive, inclusive team culture where Educators feel supported, motivated, and proud of the program they deliver.
• Partner with families, the school community, and internal stakeholders to ensure the service continues to grow and thrive.
• Be supported by an experienced Coordinator and Regional Manager, so you’re never doing it alone.
