Job summary

Catholic Education - Diocese of Rockhampton is seeking OSHC Assistants for St Paul’s Catholic Primary School, Gracemere. Casual positions commence as soon as possible with before/after school care opportunities.

Applicants with ACECQA approved qualifications or who are studying and reviewing ACECQA options are encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive hourly rate between $37.53 and $40.57, pending qualifications, with age-based adjustments for under 21.

Qualifications

• Blue Card WWC valid and suitability notice required.
• ACECQA approved qualification or willing to obtain on employment.
• First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma training (ACECQA approved).
• National Child Protection and Child Safety training completed prior to start.
• Ability to perform physical requirements safely.
• Prohibition notice declaration completed as part of pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist delivery of quality OSHC activities under My Time Our Place.
• Provide direct supervision and support to all children.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for OSHC students and staff.
• Monitor health and safety of students and supervise appropriately.
• Contribute to creating a welcoming and supportive program.
