Job summary

Livingstone Shire Council is seeking an experienced organisational development professional to lead leadership development, culture initiatives and onboarding programs for staff across the organisation. You will partner with stakeholders to drive culture change, workforce planning and capability development to support community outcomes.

• Experience designing and delivering leadership, culture, engagement or workforce capability initiatives that drive organisational performance.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Analytical thinking and turning workforce data into practical actions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and delivery of leadership, culture and organisational development initiatives that build capability and drive employee engagement.
• Lead and coordinate Council's corporate induction and onboarding program, ensuring a positive and consistent experience for new employees.
• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to support cultural change, workforce planning and capability development.
• Analyse employee survey data and workforce insights to identify trends and implement meaningful improvement actions.
• Coordinate and monitor OD programs and projects, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable outcomes aligned to Council's strategic priorities.

The Role:

This position supports Council by influencing culture, developing leaders, enhancing employee experience and delivering organisation-wide initiatives that make a lasting impact on both employees and the community we serve.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will play an integral role in contributing to the development of Council’s leaders, strengthening culture and preparing our workforce for the future through implementation of organisational development initiatives and programs that improve employee experience, drive engagement and support Council's long-term success.
