• Develop, implement and evaluate OD initiatives in line with strategy and policy.

• Update policies and resource materials to align with OD objectives.
• Collaborate across People Culture and Safety and the broader organisation.
• Oversee multiple projects ensuring alignment to objectives and timelines.

Band 8: Salary range $134,011 - $150,181 per annum plus 12% Super

The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. About the Role

Reporting to Head of Organisational Development, the Senior Organisational Development Advisor is a valued and integral part of the People Culture and Safety Department who will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing key organisational development initiatives across the organisation to support the achievement of our organisational goals and delivery of the City of Port Phillip Council Plan.

Duties

• Take a lead role on key initiatives such as the employee Diversity and Inclusion strategy, including the delivery of the Gender Equality Action Plan, employee engagement, strategic workforce planning, learning and development, as well as leadership development
• Develop, implement and evaluate Organisational Development initiatives in line with Legislative requirements, People and Culture Strategy and Policy within a complex environment
• Provide expert learning and organisational development advice, guidance, coaching, and feedback to learners, leaders, and stakeholders
• Update, develop and review key policies and resource material to align with Organisational Development objectives
• Collaborate and coordinate across People Culture and Safety, as well as the broader organisation to ensure effective and efficient implementation of OD initiatives
• Oversee multiple projects and priorities, ensuring alignment to objectives and a streamlined approach to delivery in line with organisational change methodology

Skills and Experience

Academic: A tertiary degree in Organisational Development / Organisational Psychology or related qualification or; lesser formal qualifications along with substantial experience.

Experience: Substantial experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating Learning and Organisational Development solutions across multiple business areas.
